George Siougas is an award-winning film and television director celebrated for his emotionally driven storytelling and dynamic visual style.

 

Over a 25-year career, he has directed more than 1,000 hours of drama and comedy for some of Britain’s most popular and prime-time shows, including Casualty, EastEnders, Coronation Street,Hollyoaks, and Emmerdale. Equally at home in long-form television and film, George has built a body of workdefined by its human focus, stories centred on character, emotion, and universal experience. His six short films and feature debut have earned more than 100 international awards, with his most recent short, The One Note Man, shortlisted for both the Oscars and BAFTAs. The 21-minute film has won over 60 international awards, screened on two major airlines, sold in over 50 territories, and been acquired amongst other platforms by Amazon Prime and Disney+.
